Data Analysis and Training Services

SOSI routinely analyzes MS/MS and targeted proteomics data sets. We use our own tools and are experts in proteomics and bioinformatics. The data analysis and training services we provide are for groups that realize they need help with data analysis or for groups that are focused on a research project and are looking to delegate data processing. We charge a low cost fixed rate for analyzing individual data sets or for providing comprehensive data analysis support for an entire project.

Why hire us to analyze your data? We're efficient, we'll do a good job, and you can continue with your research. Here are a few of the common situtations where it makes sense to use our data processing services.

• You are part of a smaller group that lacks the resources to staff a full time proteome informatics individual. SOSI's data analysis service is much cheaper than a full time salary and it can be used whenever needed.
• You have the resources but not the expertise. Rely on us to give your project a good start. We'll both analyze your data and train users to replicate our analysis.
• You are writing a grant and want to show strong expertise and support for MS/MS and MRM bioinformatics.
• You already have too much work to do.

What do you get? We're flexible to meet your needs. We typically start with two base packages:

• Per Data Set Support (one time fee)
• A single time analysis of collected data. Focus is placed on agreed upon goals, and a report is generated summarizing the analysis.
• Analysis is archived by SOSI for 5 years. Optional publication/public access.
• Free use of Cluster and Mr. M to independently reanalyze the data set.
• A follow up e-mail and phone call discussing analysis results.
• Per Project Support (annual fee)
• Unlimited analysis of data related to a specific grant, project, or service.
• Unlimited training to replicate Cluster and Mr. M based data analyses.
• Free group-wide use of Cluster and Mr. M
• Data is archived by SOSI for 5 years. Option publication/public access.
• Free customization of Cluster and Mr. M -- whatever is required to accomplish your goals.
